Our Projects

Through its projects, Pearl Heart Ministries is creating lasting change by investing in children, families, and communities. From education to ongoing personal support, each initiative is designed to bring hope and a future to those who need it most. The growing impact reflects both the deep need and the potential to reach even further.

Sponsorship

Through your sponsorship, you are not only supporting a child’s education, you are investing in their life, their confidence, and their future.

In Uganda, education is only possible if families can afford school fees and basic supplies. For many, this is out of reach. Through your support as a sponsor, a child is given the opportunity to go to school and build a brighter future.

Your sponsorship provides school fees, essential learning materials, and a school uniform (every second year). It also makes special moments possible, such as birthday and Christmas celebrations, bringing joy and a sense of belonging to each child.

But your impact goes beyond meeting practical needs. We are committed to building meaningful relationships with every child and their family. Through regular visits, we stay connected, offer spiritual guidance, and ensure each child is supported holistically.

Birthday celebrations are a highlight of the year, creating space for connection and reminding each child that they are valued, loved, and full of potential.

During school holidays, we organise a special day where children from different villages come together. These gatherings are filled with games, creative activities, songs, and bible stories, fostering community, joy, and hope.

Girls Ministry

Many girls and young women are unable to complete their education, often due to financial hardship or early pregnancy. As a result, many become young single mothers without qualifications, yet carry the responsibility of providing for their children and securing their future education.

Through our Girls Ministry, we offer these young women a six-month vocational training program. During this time, they are provided with safe accommodation and supported through mentoring. Alongside practical skills, we equip them with essential life skills such as financial management, while also creating space to explore questions of faith.

Through this program, young women are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives, gain independence, and create a better future for themselves and their children.

Building Project

In December 2025, we were able to purchase a piece of land in Ntinkalu, a small village about 30 minutes from Jinja. Many families there rely on fishing, quarry work, or sugarcane fields to survive, often struggling day by day to make ends meet.

On this land, we are planning to build a Ministry Centre – a place of hope, support, and new opportunity. It will include an office, a multi-purpose space for tutoring, workshops, youth programs, and children’s activities, as well as training and accommodation for the young women in our Girls Ministry.

We also envision housing for our team, along with space for a garden and small-scale chicken farming to support the project sustainably.

This centre will create a foundation for long-term impact in the community – opening doors to education, growth, and a brighter future.

We are building more than just a centre, we are creating a space where lives can be transformed and futures reshaped.
